Zhytomyr region is home to one of the largest deposits of natural granite in the CIS, which contributed to the development of stone mining and processing in the region. Proximity to the capital (about 100 kilometers from Kyiv), a developed transport system and granite quarries with unique types of stone created favorable conditions for the creation and growth of our company. “Gran-Tar” was established in 2000, and over the years it has become one of the leading companies working with stone in the Zhytomyr region. We have established close cooperation with all the granite quarries represented in the region, and we directly receive the supply of high-quality selected stone. This moment significantly shortens the production time of any order. It is impossible not to mention the team of people who work for us. The best specialists in their field create unique products every day and bring someone’s sketches to life. Each specialist is responsible for his own, separate part of production in this multi-stage and complex process.
Conventionally, all our objects can be divided into three groups: office, production and warehouse.

In the office, you can familiarize yourself with the types of granite by samples and flip through catalogs with thousands of different products. Our specialists will help you create a sketch, choose the right granite, choose the optimal dimensions. A person who has encountered a natural stone for the first time will be able to receive many useful tips, recommendations and answers to their questions. About the work of our productions
Production No. 1 – Korostyshiv, Chervonykh Partyzan street, 117A
We can talk endlessly about production, its work, improvements and opportunities, because this is the most important thing in our company. More than 40 pieces of equipment used in stone processing are located in the company’s workshops, from manual polishing machines to automatic grinding machines. In order to purchase the best and most modern equipment, we regularly visit countries in Europe and Asia. By equipping the workshops with machines: 1600 promasz, 2000, 3500, cable, we got the opportunity to manufacture products of any thickness, with a maximum size of 330×152 cm. We can cut not only straight, but also shaped parts (for example, columns). If you are interested in watching the transformation of a stone block into an elegant column, we will be happy to give you a tour of our production.
Our company has two warehouses. The first is filled with blanks and slabs, this allows you to make orders very quickly, without waiting for the delivery of new stone.
The second contains ready-made products that are waiting for loading, and standard products from various granites (arches, pedestals, tiles, paving stones, curbs, etc.).
Production No. 2 – Korostyshiv, str. Griboyedova, 37A
The end of 2018 was significant for our company – we launched the second production. The most modern equipment installed here allows you to expand the range of products many times over. You can see production photos in the gallery by clicking on the photo at the top of the page.
Hydro-Abrasive Stone Cutting
Our company constantly strives to improve by enhancing the range and quality of our products. In 2021, modern Italian equipment of the “PRUSSIANI” company was purchased and launched. Five machines allow the production of natural stone products of large sizes and shapes:
- sculptures;
- bas-reliefs;
- columns up to 6 meters in length and 1.2 meters in diameter;
- other figured processing.
A machine for cutting granite slabs with a “Water Jet” hydro abrasive jet (mosaic production) was launched. This equipment is already working on the cladding of the Holy Trinity Church, located on Zhilyanska Street in Kyiv.
About warehouses
At the warehouses, the customer can familiarize himself with different color solutions of granites, evaluate the texture of the surfaces, and look at live, ready-made products. At each stage of production, packaging and transportation, our employees check the quality and safety of your order. Although our main activity is stone processing, for the convenience of our customers, we provide services for delivery and installation of our products. For those who do not want or are unable to pick up the product themselves, we can bring it to the installation site. The quality of installation is also very important. Our specialists will help prepare the surface for installation of products and will carry out this process as quickly and qualitatively as possible.
